The Brief

Bridging Madagascar with the Global Stage

We Move Madagascar is a cultural organization committed to connecting Madagascar with international audiences. They brought Malagasy designer and creative visionary Sih Rakout to the United States for her debut fashion showcase a historic series beginning in Washington, D.C. and culminating in a sponsored appearance in New York City.

Rolling Butterflies was brought on to document the full journey from creative preparation to runway execution, with a focus on raising brand awareness, preserving cultural moments, and supporting future sponsorship efforts through cinematic visual content.

Our goal was to authentically reflect the mission, art, and voice of both We Move Madagascar and Sih Rakout and to build media assets powerful enough to open doors for years to come.

What We Did

Three Areas of Focus

Visual Production

Directed and produced a short feature film capturing Sih Rakout's U.S. debut. Created a full suite of short form vertical content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube showcasing the creative process, runway moments, and designer interviews.

Event Coverage

Filmed both Washington D.C. and New York City events including sponsor integrations, audience reactions, live styling moments, and cultural performances. Delivered polished recap content for ongoing brand storytelling and grant proposals.

Brand Awareness

Elevated We Move Madagascar's role as cultural connectors through strong visuals. Introduced Sih Rakout's fashion, voice, and vision to new U.S. audiences and delivered branded assets to support sponsorship outreach and organizational growth.
